Application Process:
- Visit http://valenciacollege.edu/dual/ and click on the "Apply Now" button to create a login and submit the online Dual Enrollment application.
- After you submit the application, you will be prompted to create a Dynamic Forms account. You will be required to provide a parent/legal guardian’s email address and your guidance counselor’s full name and email address; an incorrect email address will delay processing time. This form will generate an email to the parent/legal guardian for participation approval.
- Once the parent/legal guardian provides an online signature, an email will be automatically sent to the guidance counselor to provide academic verification.
- Once the guidance counselor completes the academic verification, your DE application will be submitted to the Dual Enrollment office.

If I take classes at Valencia, do I need to take 7 classes at LNHS?
We recognize that college courses are hard work, and students may not be able to handle a full course load at LNHS in addition to classes at Valencia. Refer to the table below to see how many classes you will need to register for.
|
Note: If you drop the number of courses you are taking at Valencia mid-way through the semester or school year, you will need to visit your counselor to add LNHS courses to your schedule.
What classes can I take?
That decision is largely up to you. You can take classes that interest you in to take the place of electives or you can take classes that substitute for core classes. To find out what classes at Valencia substitute for core classes required for graduation, consult the Dual Enrollment Equivalency List or the Bright Futures Course Table. You may want to meet with a Valencia Advisor for more information on things like prerequisites to make sure you are eligible to take the class you are choosing. Additionally, the test scores you used for admission to Valencia may determine which classes you need to start with. See the images below for more information.
I have a question about Valencia Dual Enrollment.
